The first is that the lovely game Little Big Planet won another award, this time in Italy and to deliver it is the RAI (big public broadcast company). At Cartoons on the Bay, an event held in Rapallo 2-5 April, were given the Pulcinella Awards for the first time opened to the videogames. Little Big Planet has won the prize in the Interactive Entertainment category.
The second is the change that Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) announced, in fact, as of May 1 2009 Andrew House will be the new President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. David Reeves (now President and CEO of SCEE) will remain in office until 30 April 2009.
The latest news for today is the announcement of the new SOCOM game that returns to PSP ™ (PlayStation®Portable) with SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo 3. Authentic military shooter will arrive next winter. We can live the experience of playing with our friends, both locally in Ad hoc mode or in the rest of the world, thanks to WiFi.

Starting March 5th the preview of Il Mondo Che Vorrei Live is available on Playstation Network. The first rock concert recorded on high-def (Blu-ray Disc). It will be out in all stores by March 13.

This is what  VASCO used to scream out every night before his concert, and so it is how the Blu-ray Disc starts (1) “Il Mondo Che Vorrei Live“, the eventful show recorded in high definition in Bologna at the Dall’Ara stadium, on the 19th and 20th.
Last September: two unforgivable nights, two consecutive sold out in ‘his’ own town.
We know Vasco likes to communicate through songs, he prefers direct contact with his traveling companions established through the stage during a concert than a television show. Everybody agree that his concerts are a must see.
The fans are lost without his concerts.
That’s why Blu-ray is out: 2 and a half hours of show and 2 and a half hours of special, dedicated to whom was there and want to live those moments again, but also to whom wasn’t there and want to enjoy them now.
VASCO on PlayStation 3
First in Europe on PLAYSTATION ® Network (2), Vasco will be online with some exclusive free downloadable contents for PS3 and PSP.
Thursday March 5th it will be available on PlayStation ® Store (3) the free downloadable hi-def video of the single “Vieni Qui“. A truly unique experience: an ever-unseen Vasco. For this video Swan, director of all Blasco’s lives, drew inspiration from a real event that happened last summer: a couple of “daredevils” new weds went, with their entire crew, directly from the church to the San Siro stadium, to share their most beautiful day with the 70,000 fans attending the concert.
These things can only happen with Vasco; the fans perceive his concerts as parties: the bride in the video cannot resist the temptation to run away to the concert of her idol and at the end she manages to achieve her dreams, including throwing her bouquet from the stage to a huge crowd. On March 12th there will be a new exclusive content for the PlayStation Network’s users: a high-definition movie of the song “Rewind” taken from Skycam, the “flying” camera that recorded throughout the show spectacular images: the audience will have the opportunity to watch the concert from a new point of view, flying over the heads of fans in delirium.
The adventure of Vasco and PlayStation will continue throughout spring with the release of PlayStation3 bundle - Il Mondo Che Vorrei Live, a special limited edition package that will include:
PS3 80GB, Blu-ray Disc “Il Mondo Che Vorrei Live“, and the video game SingStar Vol.3.

 Triple the Boss.Yes! there are three concerts of Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band confirmed by Barley Arts for this July in Italy.

The dates are the 19th in Rome, the 21st in Turin and the 23rd in Udine (and who knows may be some other date ).

 Begins today in Malta the European tour of Port Royal.The Port Royal is one of the most appreciated band of intelligent dance music, with two albums already on the market, plus one of international artists remixes. They were able to gain a wide public response that lead their performance throughout Europe and to share the stage with bands like Ladytron and Blonde Redhead.

This tour they will present some new songs as part of the new album.

New album for Fiorella Mannoia, IL MOVIMENTO DEL DARE.

Fiorella Mannoia, after 7 years from the publication of the last album with unpublished songs, has just finished recording the new disc expected due out Nov. 7.

Many surprises among the authors who wrote and composed new songs specially for her for the first time is Luciano Ligabue “Io posso dire la mia sugli uomini” who will be the first single in radio in the coming weeks.

This morning, 15 September 2008, after a brief struggle against cancer goes out a myth of music: Richard Wright. Founding member of Pink Floyd, had left the group in 1979 following a formal request for Roger Waters, bassist of the group to return to his role as keyboardist in 1987. Over more than twenty years of activity in the English but also in numerous solo albums or in collaboration with other band, Wright wrote, performed and sung songs that have become part of the history of music, and that marked deeply the evolution of the rock world.

Frankly, I am not a journalist, nor a cold reporter able to write an anonymous article on the life of an artist who has accompanied its note with most of my last years. If you want other biographical notes about Wright, seek him on his official website, or on any other article published in the newspapers online. At the moment it is difficult to write, remains only the sadness of the death of a true icon of music. It would be nice to remember him at the piano, with its long hair, while he’s writing the text of what will become one of his most famous music, “The Great Gig in the Sky”:

“I’m not frightened of dying, anytime will do, I don’t mind… Why should I be frightened of dying? There’s no reason for it, you gotta go sometime”.
“Non ho paura di morire, in qualsiasi momento potrebbe capitare, non mi preoccupa… Perché dovrei aver paura di morire? Non ce n’è ragione, prima o poi te ne devi andare”.

Sicily, closes with the participation at the Radio Onda d’Urto Festival.
