In a book dedicated to the new wave Federico Guglielmi in 1983 identifies the time limit beyond which “can no longer speak of new wave”.
To fully agree with this definition of time I’d like to suggest “Feeding the flame” by Sad Lovers & Giants as a commemorative epitaph.

Clouds, rain, existential inquietude (but also serenity)… when I was 14 in addition to the Clash, I cherished the Cure and their bare, simple and intense sound.
I follow them for years and even if in the last five years I was less devoted and involved with their music, I still harbor affection for them. Read the rest »

Take for example the completely self-produced same name Cleo Red Eyes’s album released in late October.
